The World Championship Lineman's Rodeo,
sponsored by Powerlineman.com, Powerlineman Magazine and
IBEW Local 702 announces that the 6th Annual WCLR will be held
in Du Quoin, Illinois at the Du Quoin State Fairgrounds on April
23-24, 2010. Anyone entering the event (Team Journeyman, Apprentice,
and Journeyman Individual) needs to have their paperwork in to us by
March 3, 2010.
Vendors need to have their paperwork in as quick as possible as
well as space is limited.
To anyone wanting to buy a meal voucher please let us know so
we can prepare the food.

The WCLR was started,
organized, and is supported and maintained by today’s lineman.
"Not unlike our respected firemen and policeman, I believe today’s
linemen also deserve recognition for what they do everyday and after a
major outage event. The Rodeo is as challenging as many games, but at
the end of the play we are delivering a critical service to thousands
of people across the United States. I am truly passionate about what
our linemen do.
