WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?
We are apart from the rest in that we will accept videos for review in disputes. Additionally, if you choose to dispute a call by submitting a video you will incur the same rules as a regular / normal dispute.

2010 TEAM AND INDIVIDUAL EVENTS:

HURTMAN RESCUE
The hurtman rescue will be unlike most other rodeos in that once the mannequin is lowered, the climber will be allowed to come down and leave the circle once his tools are removed. Time will stop the event once there is slack in the fall line to the mannequin. The mannequin will be re-hung by the WCLR judges as close to the same place as possible.

POLE CLIMB
Same as the egg run found at all rodeo's

MYSTERY EVENTS (2)
You'll have to come to find out.

BELL RUN
At the end of the competition, there will be a special event known as the Bell Run. Each contestant may enter for $50 and the winner will take the entire pot. Rules are as follows:

- Climber may have all tools on with proper gloves
- Climber must maintain control
- Event will be video taped for disputes
- Climber will maintain a 2 point contact at all time
- Climber must hook the pole once every 10'
- Cut-outs and Falls will count the same as Egg Run
- Any gaffing will result in disqualification

QUESTION AND ANSWERS
Prior to each event there will be a question and answer session. More information will also be available in the team packet.

DISPUTES
All video tape is admissible in a dispute if the video is conclusive in its clarity. If there is NOT conclusive evidence to over turn the ruling, then the ruling will stand and there will be a 10 point deduction. If a team unsuccessfully disputes more than 2 events, the team will be disqualified and asked to leave.

MEALS
Meal vouchers must be bought in advance of the awards ceremony. We will sell none on the night of the awards presentation. They must be bought on Friday the 23rd or before.

Our goal at the WCLR is to attract the most talented linemen from around the nation and world to compete in events based on traditional lineman tasks and skills.
